Princess Cecily (Burrell Collection, Glasgow. Reg. No. 45/75) edge bonding and gap filling with Araldite® AY103/HY951
The epoxy resin Araldite® in this panel has experienced a total of 35 years’ aging: approximately half that period in dark storage and the remaining time (1984 - 2003) in the strong illumination of the Burrell Collection artificially lit gallery during opening hours. The polymer appearance has been well maintained.
