The last window in the Becket Miracle window series. The armature forms a number of interlocking shapes,
with sixty-three panels in all. The tightly interlocking forms and the insistence on curvature recall the design
of nII.
The panel sVII 1 dates to the 13th century with some replacements added in the 19th and 20th centuries.

The window was re-leaded and conservation work was carried out in 1984.
The panels were dismantled and cleaned with deionised water and cotton wool swabs, a scalpel and a soft brush. A coating of a mixture of Microcrystalline wax and Polythene A wax was applied to consolidate paint. The mixture was applied with a brush and mechanically polished. Fractures were bonded with silicone.
The protective glazing was also installed in 1984. Protective glazing panels, made from 3 mm float glass (not distorted),
are held into the original ferramenta with linseed oil putty.
The stained glass panels are held in an aluminium sub-frame inside the building. The interspace between the original and the protective glazing panels is approximately 40 mm. The system is externally ventilated.

More information about the window is available in the Object-Data by Constglass FhG ISC (sVII panel 1, sVII panel 4).
A short description about scientific investigations can be reached directly panel 1 and panel 4.
