The Araldite® looks golden, ranging from amber until ochre-yellow. The layer begins to splinter into flakes or aligned cracks. It seems that at this step it was detached from both surfaces of the glass.

Yellowed Araldite® with a shining whitish surface aspect, appears therefore to be detached from both surfaces. It is broken up by cracks or flakes as well as shrunken “flake-insulae” which can sometimes overlap.
